People are controlling. Whether we realize it or not. But I have to wonder if the effects of people in our immediate environment is such a bad thing. If I am in an environment where smoking is frowned upon I am likely to smoke less thereby positively affecting my health. The fact of the matter is that whether you care about what people think or not they affect our everyday lives. I wouldnt smoke out of courtesy not because of what people would think. But the effects of "peer pressure" may not always be detrimental. Curious how we tend to highlight the negative things in life and underappreciate the positive ones.
